Once sufficient information is obtained to make an informed decision regarding whether the child has a disability and the extent to which that disability impairs the child’s academic performance, a meeting is held to discuss the evaluation results. Parents are invited to attend this educational meeting where results of the evaluation are discussed and eligibility for special education services are determined.
